لذلك، يعتبر التشخيص الذاتي في المنزل ليس الحل الصحيح لمعرفة إذا كنت مصابا بفيروس كورونا، فالأفضل هو معرفة ذلك عن طريق الفحص الطبي لتحديد ما إذا كنت مصابا بمتحور «أوميكرون» ام نزلت برد عادية في شتاء قارص البرودة.

أعراض متحور أوميكرون
ووجدت دراسة نشرت في اول ديسمبر الجاري أن التركيبات الجينية لـ«أوميكرون» ونزلات البرد متشابهة، مما يجعل الأعراض متشابهة أيضا، إلا أن الأعراض الرئيسية التي يجب البحث عنها هي الصداع والتعب وفقا للخبراء.
ونشر عالم الفيروسات وأستاذ علم الأورام الجزيئي، البروفيسور لورانس يونغ، في صحيفة «الصن» البريطانية: «يبدو أن هناك تداخلا مع أعراض البرد وهناك تقديرات بأن ربع المصابين بنزلات البرد مصابون بالفعل بكوفيد-19».
